Events and Collaborations
A collaboration I hold close to my heart, is with Australian Red Cross Cottesloe.
This is the charity I donate client’s pre-loved clothing and accessories following a Wardrobe Audit, should they not have a preferred charity or cause in mind.
A huge thank you to my generous clients who donate their unwanted items. Your donation means Red Cross can be there to help people during disasters and other emergencies in Australia. It prepares people, provides comfort and care during a disaster or emergency and support recovery.
Second-hand clothes also have a hugely positive social and environmental impact. They reduce carbon emissions, save lots of resources, water and energy. They also prevent old clothing from ending up in landfills or incinerators
All funds raised go to support Australian Red Cross teams helping people as they overcome hardship, crisis and disaster in Australia.
Although my focus and passion is to work with Personal Styling clients, I have been fortunate enough to be involved with many events and collaborations over the past 8 years. Below is a selection of past events and collaborations I have been honoured to be a part of.
If you have an event you would like me to take part in, I’d love to work with you.
Get in touch to collaborate.
Official Personal Stylist – Westfield Booragoon Shopping Centre (formerly Garden City)
Although I am a stand-alone Personal Stylist under the Peta Preston Image Stylist business – Westfield Booragoon appointed me as their official Centre Stylist some years ago. Our relationship continues to be strong, and I will be forever grateful for the mutual beneficial partnership we share.
SWM The West Australian Feature Article, Male Styling and Grooming
I was contacted by a Journalist of the West Australian as one of the few Personal Stylists in Perth who style men. She asked me to write an article for Sunday Times Magazine (STM) on the recent increase in male styling and grooming in Australia.
Autumn/Winter ‘Style Studio’ Westfield Booragoon
Official Stylist of the ‘Style Studio’. An exciting four-day event. Purpose built Style Studio erected in the heart of the Fashion Precinct at Westfield Booragoon. An opportunity for customers to visit and browse through carefully curated key pieces from selected Retailers to promote AW 2023 trends. Made to educate and inspire others.
Styling Workshop – Karrinyup Shopping Centre
Spending most of my working days at Karrinyup Shopping Centre with clients, retailers were begging me to host a 2023 Autumn Winter Workshop to support and showcase their ‘must have’ pieces. We can all get caught up in brands and labels. Don’t always be fooled by the price tag or label of a garment. It’s all about ‘stealth wealth’. Neutral colours, quality fabrics, structure and most importantly, an aversion to logos. I can teach you how to look effortlessly stylish on any budget.
WA Fashion On the Field Judge
During my career as a Stylist, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Alana McLean on various occasions. She and Robbie interviewed me on radio years ago when I was in Broome for the Airnorth Cable Beach Polo. In 2022 Alana approached me to be an Official Judge for the WA Fashion on the Field at Ascot Racecourse. How could I say no? It was a fabulous day!
Airnorth Cable Beach Broome Polo – Official Stylist (Runway Events)
Marilynne Paspaley approached me to be the official Stylist of the Airnorth Cable Beach Polo. What a fabulous opportunity this was for my career at the time. Personal Styling has always been my focus and passion. However, I studied Editorial and Runway Styling with Australian Style Institute and was excited to utilise my skills and knowledge. This project had me working with well-known Perth designers like Natalie Rolt and One Fell Swoop to create 3 stunning Runway Parades for the VIP Polo Tent, across 3 days.
Celebrity Styling – Catriona Rowntree
Catriona Rowntree was MC for the Airnorth Cable Beach Polo event. Not only did I have the task of developing and managing 3 runway parades, I was also asked to style Catriona for a photoshoot in Broome. Styled in a stunning One Fell Swoop gown and dripping with exquisite diamonds and pearls from Paspaley, Catriona looked breathtaking. Growing up with Getaway as a kid on our TV screen, I felt very humbled to have the opportunity to dress such a successful and accomplished woman.
Ambassador Kailis Pearls – Australian South Sea Pearls
This affiliation started years ago when Westfield Booragoon was owned by AMP Capital and known as Garden City. I was the official Stylist of Garden City and fortunate enough to wear an amazing pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet for the launch party of the ‘Styling Room’. Over the years our relationship has grown, and they now have a fabulous store at Westfield Booragoon. Every time I work on a seasonal fashion launch with Westfield Booragoon, I wear stunning pearls from Kailis Jewellery
Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Perth (EO Perth) Styling Workshop
Having styled countless high-level Entrepreneurs in Perth, a client of mine asked if I would host a Styling Workshop for his EO Group Perth. I always feel incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to share my knowledge in a large group setting and this was no exception.
Editorial Shoot – There’s a carrot in my piñata
I was appointed as head Image Stylist for a fun cook book called “There’s a carrot in my Piñata”. The entire section of “The Birthday Bash” featured in Homelife Magazine.
Black Friday Event – Westfield Booragoon
Hosting a ‘Black Friday’ Event at Garden City in the Style Room, showcasing hand-picked black ‘must have’ items! Think black champagne flutes, cupcakes and the perfect pair of black pants for work. It’s investment pieces like these that provide you with styling freedom.
